Less than 2 weeks left

So there’s less than 2 weeks left of my last semester and I am beyond ecstatic. Finals are next week and I haven’t even studied yet. Thankfully, I’m not stressed out, but I know being this laid back isn’t good. I’m sorry for the super short blog, but next week it will be filled with jam pack drama… I’m sure of it.

Hello August!

Well, we aren’t in August just yet, but we are mighty close. It’s the third week of July and I’m feeling the urge to jump and shout. I have about 2 in a half weeks left of school and I am very excited. I know in my last blog I sounded somewhat stressed out and the pressure was kicking in. I’m OK guys. Work was pretty hectic with 2 major events for students. I also had a couple of assignments on one of the most beautiful weekends of the year; however I was unable to enjoy myself. Yawning in class has been my best characteristic this semester, but I’m not failing. Almost all of my professors said that the 1st week of August would be my last; hopefully they keep to their word.

Mid Semester

So there is exactly less than a month left for my associates and anxiously happy. I never really pictured myself getting this far. I know when I first enrolled into the Accounting program at CW; it was going to take a lot of hard work and dedication. Seems like just yesterday when I was running up and down the stairs looking for my next class, and constantly asking current students where different departments were located. With less than a month of my Associates degree left, I am sad yet happy for what my future as in stored for me. I start my Bachelors degree in Business Administration in September, and I look forward to that 2nd chapter of my life. Mid semester still feels like there’s way too much days left for school but I’m in no rush to get this program over with.

Sizzling Hot!

Some may say this was type of weather we’ve all been waiting for. Scorching temperatures hitting 101 degrees and above in different parts of the east coast. For New York City, we won’t get any cooling relief till late this week. Meteorologist urged New Yorkers to stay in and limit their use of electricity. I highly doubt anyone will listen. At least 20 of my friends invited me to the beach today, but I had to decline. Sadly I’m stuck in school as always. Hopefully the air condition does not stop working. I’m looking forward to this weekend.

P.S the CW Warriors first summer league game is this Saturday at 7:30 at The Theodore D. Young Center, in White Plains. SUPPORT, SUPPORT, SUPPORT!

Fun in the Sun

I can honestly say that I am now counting down the days for school to be over. I don’t want to bore you guys with me constantly complaining about not enjoying summer, and so much assignments but if you were in my shoes, you would feel the exact same way. One thing I am hopeful about is mid August. Florida will be my get away destination and I’m super excited.

For those who have been going to beach almost every day and sleeping in through the morning, I envy you. For 4th of July weekend we have temperatures reaching mid 90’s for the east coast. I still don’t know how I’m going to spend this 4 day weekend… I need ideas people!!!
