Counting down the days till Spring break…

Last night, I found myself nearly missing an assignment deadline due to my “Power Nap.” I got home around 6:30PM from basketball practice and I was extremely tired. It’s been a crazy week as always and sometimes I find myself doing way too much that I can handle. I enjoy having a busy lifestyle, at times it makes me happy and sometimes super tired. This week went pretty quick, and on top of students having a four day weekend, we can now enjoy a tease of spring like weather for Friday. New York City has been hit with new record totals for snowfalls. The first day of spring is in approximately 29 days and I’m excited. This winter has made me stressed out, especially since my car has taken a lot of abuse from pot holes and rocky roads. I’m also looking forward to basketball playoffs. My team is currently 7-2 in the White Plains Men’s league and we’re excited to compete and take the trophy home for the 2nd year in a row.

Hanging tough!

Finally the snow storms are over and the ice is melting away. New York City is getting back to its old ways and we can all look forward to the warm, spring weather. Professors are mostly excited because we had our first full week of school. I barely got sleep this week as I studied, wrote essays, and involved myself with many school activities, in and off campus. I’m really hoping for this weekend to be less crazy and have some more downtime. Catching up on sleep and spending time with my family is definitely on my agenda. My basketball season has been going great as well. The CW Warriors are currently 6-2 with four games left in the season. I have no doubt at all that we will make the playoffs. We’re hoping to bring home another championship to The College of Westchester. The next two months or so of school will be more challenging and I’m not looking forward to it at all. Being successful does not come easy but I’m soaring to strive for nothing but the best!
