It’s that time of the year again, a time where everyone cheats a little bit. All goals mean nothing at all and the main focus is stuffing your face with amazing food. But it’s not all about the food. Let me be the first person to remind you that giving back is crucial. No matter how small or big, you must be grateful for all that you have and accomplished, I know I am. This year has been filled with so many trials and tribulations. Thanksgiving Day is a day where we all must celebrate and be grateful. Today, The College of Westchester had its annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. This year, things were a bit different, and I mean that in a good way. Everyone looked cheerful and was very talkative. The student center was filled with happy souls. This was my last Thanksgiving Luncheon at The College of Westchester and I have to be honest, I was a little sad. There’s literally two weeks of college left and then I’m done. Not done forever, but the family that I’ve grown to love and learn from will be gone. These past 3 years have been difficult but amazing simultaneously. I’m beyond grateful and have not taken anything for granted. I hope everyone has similar stories as I do.
Happy Thanksgiving!
